National No Kings Activities
The Next 250 Starts With Us.
As America approaches its 250th anniversary, we have a choice about what story we tell.
We can let strongman politics and corruption define the moment. Or we can make the story of America about people coming together — across race, background, identity, belief, and community — to defend our rights and build a future rooted in people power.
On the weekend of June 14, we rise up, we sing out, and we keep organizing.
Why We're Taking Action
Citizens Bank is bankrolling the country's two largest prison companies that are earning record profits operating dozens of ICE detention facilities.

Across America, we'll be making good trouble.
We are facing the most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations – but the same spirit that fueled Selma, Montgomery, and the March on Washington lives on in our unified action.
In remembrance of Congressman John Lewis, communities across the country will join for a weekend of non-partisan voter engagement, civic education, and faith-based organizing, under the banner of “Teach! Reach! Preach!”
Join us by attending an event in our community. More info coming soon.

The fight to protect voting rights never ends, and right now, we’re witnessing a Jim-Crow-era effort from politicians and their billionaire friends to restrict our freedoms, silence our voices, and consolidate power.
Bring your flags, banners, and lots of enthusiasm!
Join "Do Something" Indivisible SouthCoast NE and thousands of people across the country to send Citizens Bank a clear message: financing private prison and immigration detention facility operators The GEO Group and CoreCivic is bad for business.

MORE ON THE BLOG
"Do Something" Indivisible SouthCoast NE, a grassroots community group,
is proudly part of the national Indivisible movement.
We bring together engaged individuals from across SouthCoast NE (MA-9 and RI-1).

We are committed to building a thriving, engaged community
that drives meaningful change.
Our charter is to grow a critical mass of individuals united in action, serving as a hub to connect people
with causes and movements that inspire them.
We focus solely on domestic issues, advocating for policies that uplift and empower our communities
while maintaining a principled stance against war.
Our approach is rooted in positivity, forward-thinking, and hope,
rejecting the narratives of despair.
We are action-oriented, ensuring every effort leads to
tangible takeaways and progress.
Together, we aim to inspire, mobilize, and create a brighter future
—one step at a time.
Indivisible is committed to non-violence as a guiding principle in everything we do and we reject all forms of political violence and intimidation, no matter the source or the target. That’s not just a moral stance—it’s a strategic one.
Movements that create lasting change do so by building trust, forging solidarity, and demonstrating discipline,
even in the face of threats or attacks.
